Gabriel’s Harp has participated in a music ministry for a number of youth events, beginning with Journeé Mondiale de la Jeunesse in 1997 through World Youth Day Events in Toronto, Canada, even attending the most recent youth events in Germany. Rebecca is the Music Director at Divine Word in Kirtland, also serving in Music Ministry at St. Francis of Assisi in Gates Mills, St. Clare in Lyndhurst and St. Joseph in Mantua. Liam is the Music Director at St. Joseph in Mantua. Chris plays at St. Mary’s in Hudson. Although jazz is a first love for both Zach and Langston, they are true servants and go where they are called.
From Severance Hall to Paris to London, thank you for your kind words and prayers. We’re thrilled to work in the trenches, serving on the front lines of ministry.
First formed in 1996 by Richard Josef and Rebecca Harper, then joined by dear friend, Christopher Michael Telzerow in 2000, the band performed for opening and closing ceremonies at World Youth Day events in Rome, toured with the Ragamuffins, and co-wrote the international version of the Official World Youth Day 2000 song, Emmanuel, with Italian friends Marco Mammoli, Marco Brusati, Massimo Versaci and Mauro Labellarte. Telzerow is the Music Director at St. Francis of Assisi in Gates Mills.
